What the Plan Fee Does Not Cover
The fee is for the work. Everything paid to third parties is quoted at cost and shown as its own line.
- The goods themselves and the factory's deposit, which you pay the factory directly
- Sample costs and courier charges, billed at cost
- Freight, customs duty, IGST and port charges, quoted separately once the volume is known
- Product certification (BIS, WPC and the like) where your product needs it; we tell you if it does
Questions Importers Ask Before Choosing a Plan
How do the plans differ in practice?
Starter finds and compares factories for a few products and checks that they exist and are licensed. Business adds negotiation, samples and a factory audit, for buyers who will place orders. Enterprise adds inspection before shipment and shipping coordination, for buyers who want one team from quote to delivery.
Is the plan price all I pay?
The plan price is our fee for the work listed. The goods, the factory deposit, samples, freight, duty and GST are paid at cost and are not part of the plan. The quote you receive separates the two.
Can I start with Starter and move up?
Yes. Many buyers test one product line on Starter and move to Business when they place the first order. The amount paid for Starter is set against the Business fee for the same products.
Do you work with any product?
Most consumer and light industrial goods, yes. For regulated goods (electronics under BIS, toys, food contact items, cosmetics) we check the Indian requirement first and tell you what certification the factory must hold before we shortlist.
How long does sourcing take?
Shortlisting factories usually takes one to two weeks after the brief is agreed. Samples add the factory's lead time plus courier days. Production and shipping depend on the product; the timeline is set out in the quote.
